- Subsequent to Mascom being issued numbers within the 74 Range,
Orange, the second service provider, was also issued with a
range of numbers within the 74 range.
74 range allocation:
- 7400 0000 has not been allocated any operator, therefore 7400 0000 to 7409 9999 is unallocated.
7450 0000 to 7499 9999 is allocated to Mascom.
Mascom was allocated the exact amount of numbers i.e. 200 000
yet ranging from 7410 0000 to 7429 9999.
Orange Botswana was allocated an additional 200 000 numbers
ranging from 7430 0000 to 7449 9999
For last release of TOPAZ rates for Botswana download and unrar:
Steps:
- Close TOPAZ (and all Client TOPAZ).
- Run the 'bt20071001_cellularranges-update-20090327.exe' on the TOPAZ PC'.
- Open TOPAZ.
- You will get a message that the rates was updated successfully.
If not:- To load the rates, click on "Setup -> Properties -> Rates",
- If you are in Botswana or Swaziland then "do NOT add local area prefix..."
must be ticked, else leave it blank. - Enter your area code and then click on the "Load Rates" button.
- Now select your Zone file.
The files must be in C:\Program Files\Datatex\Topaz\Rates".
If you cannot select the file from this directory, copy it from the CD into this directory! On the Topaz CD
you will find the zone files in the RATES folder. Choose your country folder, then ZONE. - Click on Open.
- Once the "Load Rates" are completed you will get an message "Load Rates Successfull".
- Click on OK.
- To load the rates, click on "Setup -> Properties -> Rates",
