Setup SMDRLink: data from Alcatel 4400 OmniPCX Ethernet?

How do I setup SMDRLink to receive data from the Alcatel 4400 OmniPCX Ethernet?

Datatex Software required:

• Plugin: version 2006.7.28.7 or newer
  
  
  AMETHYST 1.5: PAlcatel4400_OmniPCX_Ethernet.so
  Windows: PAlcatel4400_omnipcx_ethernet.dll
• SMDRLink Administrator: version 1.1.3.1 or newer

Installing SMDRLink:


AMETHYST 1.5: SMDRLink is already installed on all the AMETHYST 1.5 servers.

Configuration of SMDRLink:

• Log into the SMDLink Administrator:
  AMETHYST 1.5: http://amethyst:3081
  Windows: Replace 'amethyst' in the above address with the ip of the PC that SMDRLink is installed on.
• Leave all default settings, except listed below: Under the 'General Settings' section:
  
  • AMETHYST 1.5: Select 'PAlcatel4400_OmniPCX_Ethernet.so' from the drop-down for 'plugin'. This plugin will only be available if loaded onto the AMETHYST 1.5 server. Datatex configures the server according to the Order Confirmation documentation supplied.
    Windows:
    Select 'PAlcatel4400_OmniPCX_Ethernet.dll' from the drop-down for 'plugin'. Available:
    On the internet, http://www.datatex.co.za -> login -> topaz -> downloads -> aristel. The 'plg-alcatel4400_omnipcx_ethernet-update-2006_7_28_7.exe' will extract the dll file in the lib folder.
    On the TOPAZ CD 1.7.7.0 (release in November 2006) in the folder PABX3 -> PROFILES -> LIB. The PAlcatel4400_omnipcx_ethernet.dll needs to be copied to C:\Program Files\Datatex\Pabx3\Profiles\Lib.
  • Set 'UDP to Pabx3' to 'On'.
  • Enter the 'Pabx3 Server IP'.
  • Enter the 'Pabx3 Server Port', default is 25001.
• Under the 'Configuration Settings' section:
  Select 'Network' from the drop-down menu.
  Enter your 'Terminating Character'.
  'PABX IP': AMETHYST 1.5: Please set the 'PABX IP' = to the Alcatel IP address. Ensure that the TMS2000 buffer points to the Amethsyt server IP. (The Alcatel only allows one connection at a time and this SMDRLink will simulate the PABX connection). Windows: TMS2000 ethernet Buffer must point to the IP address of the SMDRLink PC.
  Enter the 'PABX Port', default port 2533.
  Set 'Alcatel OmniPCX connection' to 'On'.
  Set 'TCP Server' to 'On'.
  'TCP Listen Port' is by default '2533'. Match with 'PABX Port'.
  Set 'Alcatel Protocol' to 'On'.
  Click on the 'Apply Changes' button.
  
  When using a LAN BUFFER, use settings below:
  
  Select 'Network' from the drop-down menu.
  Enter your 'Terminating Character'.
  'PABX IP', enter the IP address of the LAN buffer.
  'PABX Port', enter the port number of the LAN Buffer.
  Set 'Alcatel OmniPCX connection' to 'Off'.
  Set 'Alcatel TCP server' to 'Off'.
  Click on the 'Apply Changes' button.
  
  
• Stop and Start SMDRLink:
  
  
  • AMETHYST 1.5:
    Log into the Amethyst Administator, http://amethyst:3080
    Click on the 'Configure Server' icon.
    Click on 'Stop SMDRLink' and
    Click on 'Start SMDRLink'.
  • Windows:
    Stop and start the Windows service.
  
  The new settings will now take affect.
