- This is caused by an error on the database creation.
There is a limit set to only accept about a 100000 records.
After that the database reports that it is full.
[This issue has been addressed. Current limit is 1,400,000 records]
Topaz still saves the data in the PIP files, therefore nothing is lost.
A Database update from us will be able to sort out this problem (this only applies to older version of TOPAZ).
- You can change the number of records from 10000 to 1000000.
TOPAZ -> Setup -> Properties -> Transactions:
tpz-transactionnr.jpg
NOTE: Click on 'APPLY' to save changes.
- You can also replace the database file with a blank file and the data has to be imported again:
Close TOPAZ. Make a backup of the DATA folder.
Now go to the DATA folder on the TOPAZ Install CD, select the blank TRAN files, copy to the Topaz Data folder (C:\Program Files\Datatex\Topaz\Data). Remove the read-only attribute. (Select the TRAN files, and then right-click on one of them. If the read-only checkbox has a tick (grey or black), then at least one of the files has a read-only attribute set. Click on the checkbox until it is blank.)
Now import the .pip files again.
Refer to forum post - How do I import extra PIP files into Topaz?
