The following can be reasons why the barring is not working properly:
The PABX is in programming mode. Some PABXs only allow one programmer acces
at a time.
The barring levels that has been set in Topaz is not correctly configured
on the PABX.
Topaz has removed the restrictions on an extension.
The Datatex Topaz Tapi (DTP) interface is not running.
DTP overview
The PABX IP in Topaz is not configured to point to your DTP or PABX3
The Topaz must be open and the Timer on.
Make sure PABX3 is updating TOPAZ live with the call data.
Make sure TOPAZ is set to 'Auto Load File' every 60 minutes.
If the TOPAZ database is big, it will slow down updating.
Please use:
the 'Purge prior to' option under
SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> TRANSACTIONS or
The TOPAZ Centre program to archive calls to another database.
