Option 1: Standard Cable:

Use the Management cable (9-pin, standard serial cable ). This is the same cable used to
program the PABX (open the port for use with serial cable). The Ericsson technician needs
the programming cable to open the comport, use the same cable to connect to the PC.

If you need to extend the cable use a CAT-5 with (9-pin) male and female, make an extension cable
with this. Connect all pins (1 to 8) straight (1-1, 2-2, 3-3, ).

Option 2: 9-pins:

Connect white (of white-brown) to pin 2 (receive - TX of system, connect to RX of buffer).
Connect brown (of white-brown) to pin 5 (ground).
Strap orange to white(of white-green) on PABX side - 7 & 8 (ready to send).

The preferred options is to use all 8 pins (programming cable).
