Yes.
Install one Topaz on the PC like you normally would
and register it. Once this is working do the following:
More than one Topaz on one PC for different shops
TOPAZ:
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files
Create a new folder called something like Shop590
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files
Right-click on the Datatex folder and click copy
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files
Right-click on the folder Shop590 and click paste
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\Topaz
Double-click on Topaz.ini
Change the DataPath to be
C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\Topaz\Data
Click on File - Save
Close Topaz.ini
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\Topaz
Right-click on Topaz.exe and click Send to - Desktop
Go to the desktop and rename the shortcut to Topaz Shop590
Double-click on the Topaz shortcut called Topaz Shop590
and open Topaz
Go to Setup->Properties->PABX
Under the text that says PABX File Update change the path to
C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\pabx3\pabx.pip
Click Apply at the bottom
PABX3:
Make sure that pabx3 is not running
Go to My Computer - C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\Pabx3
Right-click on Pabx3.exe and click Send to - Desktop
Go to the desktop and rename the shortcut to Pabx3 Shop590
Double-click on the Pabx3 shortcut called Pabx3 Shop590 and
right-click on the telephone icon next to the time and select Show
Go to Options - FilePaths
Change the file path next to PIPE FILE to
C:\Program Files\Shop590\Datatex\pabx3\pabx.pip
Click Save
REMEMBER: If you get an error Invalid Directory when opening
Topaz it means that you did not type the folder name
correctly in the Topaz.ini file.
MAKE SURE THAT YOU WRITE THE DIRECTORY NAMES EXACTLY AS IT IS ON THE PC!!!
