If the buffer is receiving data from the PABX unit, then the
setup between the PABX unit and the buffer is correct. We need
to look why the buffer does not communicate with the PC.
This is a baud rate problem on the PC side. Untill the baud
rate is set to the same as that of the Buffer (on the PC side),
we cannot communicate with the buffer.
Try seting the PC baud rate to:
300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 28800.
One of these should match the baud rate that the Buffer is
sending the data off at.
[PABX3 -> VT100 -> Configure Topaz Buffer -> PC Baud Rate]
This buffer setup is basically the same as the UTMs Buffer.
ALSO SEE: UTMs Buffer: No Data in VT100, for pinlayout
of the cable between the buffer and the PC.
Ensure that the comport of the PC is in working order and no
other application is locking/using the comport selected in PABX3.
