TOPAZ PABX3 Plugin: HYBREX GDS 600 Version 2.1

  • Updated 20111213:

The PABX sends off a beep character before the call data string - char 7 (visible in rawdata as a 'dot'). This causes the data to be shifted one character to the right. The plugin will strip this character.

    Code: Select all

Trouble shooting:

  • The Hybrex plugin was designed for a serial cable connection. The newer versions also have a network connection option. It has been noted the with this option a 'dot' character is written to the rawdata file, which is not part of the original rawdata. We suspect the network connection could cause this.

You will need to close the TNG connection to the PABX by for example changing the setting to COMPORT or by stopping the TNG service. Please capture data so that we can investigate this, see forum post:

How do I enable logging of data in Putty?
    http://forums.datatex.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=2521#p2532

NOTE: If funny characters is send off, it might not be visible on the Putty session, but the logging might point it out (compare spacing with that of rawdata).
