error in Topaz log file: "error updating transaction file ... tbltran field line description not found"

This error is because the following changes were made in TOPAZ:
In Topaz 1.4.0.17: Update tran file with line description
In TOPAZ 1.5.0.6 : Update tran file with line description
In Topaz 1.5.0.7 : Create the Line file on upgrade of version older than 1.5.0.0

Try the following:

1. Close TOPAZ
   Change the version file to 1.4.0.16
   Open TOPAZ again. It will then do the upgrade to fix your error.
   
2. If this does not work

Delete the Line.* files in C:\Program Files\Datatex\Topaz\Data\

When you open TOPAZ it will create the Line file again.
The line numbers will be added to the file from the PABX.

When you open Topaz the tran file will be updated. How long it takes will
depend on how big the tran file is. Once the file has been updated you will
get a message on the screen, just click OK. If the tran file is very big it
might seem like it is hanging, but it is updating.
