My Client TOPAZ does not update changes/ Reference codes

My Client TOPAZ does not update changes/ Reference codes in Call Monitor does not update


This is a BDE access error.

By default the BDE LOCAL SHARE is set to FALSE.
Please close TOPAZ on all PC's (Master and Clients).

Now check the following on the Master TOPAZ and all the Client TOPAZ's:

Start > Program Files > BDE Administrator

Config > System > INIT > Set LOCAL SHARE to TRUE

Another way to open the BDE Admin:

  • My computer go to C:\Program Files\Borland\Common Files\BDE
  • Double-click on BDEADMIN.EXE
