- General:
- Select the plugin with the default settings:
In PABX3 > SELECT PABX > select the .prf from the Profiles folder - or keep your settings and only select the .dll file
In PABX3 > OPTIONS > FILE PATHS > select the .dll from the Lib folder
Once you decide on your option, follow the procedure below. - Right-click on the white telephone at the bottom-right of your screen.
- Click on SHOW on the menu which appears.
- Click on SELECT PABX on the menu at the top.
(your .prf file and .dll file must be in the correct folder to select this)
Or if you want to keep the settings only reselect the correct .dll file
PABX3 > OPTIONS > FILEPATHS > FILES - The installed plugins are in
C:\Program Files\Datatex\pabx3\profiles\lib
or you can select it from the \pabx3\profiles folder on your Topaz CD
or you can download it from the internet and save the dll in the lib folder
(to replace the existing plugin you have to close PABX3 or it will not be able
to replace the existing dll file). - Select the correct plugin, and click on the "Open" button.
- Right-click on the white telephone again.
- Click on SHUTDOWN in the menu which appears.
- Start the PABX3 again.
This can be done via START -> PROGRAMS -> STARTUP -> PABX3. - Calls which arrive should be displayed in the CALL DATA grid.
- The .prf file must be saved in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Datatex\pabx3\profiles\
The .dll file must be saved in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Datatex\pabx3\profiles\lib
There are two ways to select the plugin:
Check: correct plugin installed?:
- Double-click on title bar of PABX3.
On the bottom left hand side, it will display "PLUGIN:",
followed by the build version,
which is the ccyy.mm.dd.[build number].
TOPAZ Call Data:
If you want to process data which was received before you installed the
plugin:
You first have to purge the incorrect data, then import it again:
- To Purge see: Purging old call data
- To import:
- Right-click on the white telephone at the bottom-right of your screen.
- Click on SHOW on the menu which appears.
- Click on TOOLS on the menu at the top.
- If there is a tick next to CREATE RAW DATA,
then your old data was saved. - Click on LOAD RAW DATA.
- The raw data is usually saved in the RAWDATA text file in
C:\Program Files\Datatex\pabx3, or on newer installations,
in the RAWDATA folder. - Select the RAWDATA file and click on the OPEN button.
- Calls which have been loaded should be displayed in the CALL DATA grid.
