How do I setup a batch report?

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Nov 22, 2010 3:29 pm

  1. Create the Report:

The report must exist before you create the batch report setup.
In TOPAZ > REPORTS > CUSTOM > Create the report to your specifications or
use the present reports from the dropdown next to VIEW.

To setup a Custom Report download manual in forum post:
Where do I find a TOPAZ manual?

  2. Setup the Batch Report:

    • Choose REPORTS, then BATCH REPORTS.

The reports available for Batch Reports is listed on the left hand side. You can create them under the Custom and Exception Report options.

    • To select when to print:
Click on the + , enter your batch report name, ex. DAILY REPORTS.
Select when you want it to print.

    • To select the reports to print:
Tick the report name on the left,
once all the reports have been selected
click on the tick next to INSERT REPORT on the right hand bottom side.

    • Check NEXT RUN DATE to verify if setup correct.

If you want to test the batch report today, there must be a date before
your next batch will be printed.
The date shown is the date of the last batch printed.

If it is a date in the future, use the 'Topaz.ResetDate.Install.exe'
to change the date to a date in the past. Close TOPAZ before you run the reset date.

Where do I find the 'Topaz.ResetDate.Install.exe'?
      1. from the EXTRAS folder on the TOPAZ CD
      2. Download and unrar:
        Topaz.ResetDate.Install.rar

    • The batch can be printed or e-mailed:
If you need the reports to be e-mailed instead of printed,
just enter the e-mail address in "MAIL TO".

PLEASE NOTE: One e-mail address per batch.
