Windows 95 Regional Settings Problems

Postby Belinda Frick » Tue Nov 23, 2010 11:59 am

There is a know issue that Windows 95 doesn't save the regional
settings correctly if there are multiple profiles enabled. The following steps
should sort out the problem.

1. Restart your computer, and then click Cancel when you are prompted to log on.
This logs you on as the default user.

2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

3. Double-click Regional Settings.

4. Make the appropriate changes to your regional settings, click OK, and then close Control Panel.

5. Restart your computer.

6. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

7. Double-click Passwords, and then click the User Profiles tab.

8. Click Users can customize their preferences and desktop settings. Windows
switches to your personal settings whenever you log in, and then click OK.

9. Click Yes when you are prompted to restart your computer.

Now your default settings should be applied to all users.
