Normal setup:

When using account codes the user and account codes must
be linked. The extension must not have a user, department,
branch and section linked to it. This setup is done in
User and Accounts. You can check the setup under
DATA > USER/ACCOUNTS/EXTENSIONS.

If you need a user name next to the extension on your
report the data must always be up to date. So, you can
link a user to the extension if you keep your data up
to date.

Problem for other reports if information linked
to the Extension when using Account codes:

If a new Account code is being used and it is not linked
to a User in Topaz, then Topaz will register the Extension
from where the call was made with that Account code as
the person who made the phone call. Since the Account
Code has no User information and the Extension is linked
to a User.
