Check that all the files in the Topaz Data folder is accessible and writable. Check that the files are not read-only.
Normal Setup:
- In Topaz choose SETUP > PROPERTIES > PABX >
make sure the file path
matches the PABX3 -> FILE PATHS -> PIPE FILE file path. - Tick Auto Load
Keep RUN EVERY at 60 Minutes.
The PABX.PIP file will be imported every 60 minutes. This facility will not duplicate calls.
- If the PABX3 and TOPAZ are on the same PC, you can make the IP address 127.0.0.1
- In PABX3 -> OPTIONS -> NETWORK
Network Enable must be ticked. - Listen on Port must match
TOPAZ -> SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> NETWORK/FRONTOFFICE -> PABX3 Interface : Port - TOPAZ PORT must match
TOPAZ -> SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> NETWORK/FRONTOFFICE -> Topaz Network : Port
on both to ensure that the data works correctly.
TOPAZ:
In Topaz choose SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> NETWORK/FRONTOFFICE -> TOPAZ NETWORK
must be ticked under Enable.
Enter the computer name or IP address of the computer where the PABX3 Interface
is running.
PABX3:
If TOPAZ and PABX3 is on the same PC, use "127.0.0.1" as the IP
address of both TOPAZ and PABX3. Close and open TOPAZ and PABX3 for changes to take effect.
Network:
Topaz and PABX3 communicate via UDP. THis is part of the TCP/IP protocols.
This uses Windows network settings, therefore you need a working network
setup, even if it is a stand-alone PC.
