When a Custom report is printed and it uses the 'Between Dates' date
selection, the batch reports can now automatically adjust the dates
to the next print selection date range. Topaz will try and keep the
selection in the same sequence that the report was setup for, for
instance always keeping the 10th to the 9th of the next month and
just adjusting the months.
Example 1:
If a date was selected from the 1 June 2004 until 30 June 2004, then the
next date range is 1 July 2004 until 31 July 2004. It will move one
month ahead in time.
Example 2:
If a date was selected from the 15 June 2004 until 14 July 2004, then the
next date range is 15 July 2004 until 14 August 2004. It will move
one month ahead in time.
Example 3:
If a date was selected from the 7 June 2004 until 11 June 2004,
then the next date range is 14 June 2004 until 18 June 2004. If
the date range is 5 days and starts on a Monday, then next range
will start on a Monday again.
Example 4:
Example 1 & 2 & 3 are rules being applied, else the next data
range will be the number of days between dates, being auto
advanced. Example 3 June 2004 until 10 July 2004, next range
11 July 2004 until 38 days later, which is 18 August 2004.
Setup in TOPAZ:
Ensure that the Topaz Batch report facility is enabled.
[Setup -> Properties -> Batch reports]
Then on the Batch Reports Screen,
[Reports -> Batch Reports] there is an tickbox, 'Auto Advance', that
can be enabled to allow the batch reports to adjust the dates.
Only reports that are using Between Dates will be adjusted. And only
the reports that are run through this specific schedule that has
'Auto Advance' enabled.
