Open your new TOPAZ. Under Enquiries, make a note
of the date of your oldest calls in TOPAZ.
Close TOPAZ on both PC.
Make sure no TOPAZ is running in the back-round on
both PC or that a Client TOPAZ is connected to it via the
network.
Copy the "C:\Program Files\Datatex\TOPAZ\Data" folder
from the back-up to your new TOPAZ in the same location.
Now you will have all your old call data in TOPAZ.
To do the reset serial, run the
"tpz-resetserial-install-1_5_0_7.exe" program.
Open TOPAZ.
If there are any errors, please fix this.
ALSO SEE: When I install open Topaz I get an error like

[Setup -> Properties -> License],
click on "Print Form".
Fax the re-registration form to +27 21 5924077.
Please enter all the details on the form.
Once the TOPAZ has been re-registerd, you will be
able to import data.
To get the calls made since the new installation,
[Setup -> Properties -> PABX ], click on "Import Now".
From the look in drop-down, select the file path:
"C:\Program Files\Datatex\TOPAZ\OldPabxPip".
Sort the files by modified date in Winsdows.
Select all the files with the date since the new TOPAZ
installation upto today. Click on "OPEN". Now all the
calls will get loaded into TOPAZ.
Now all your call data will be in the new TOPAZ.
