GENERAL
TOPAZ now allows you to set a blank value for 'Set Startup Screen' on the SETUP -> PROPERTIES
-> ACCESS CONTROL screen. Topaz will then startup on the standard screen.
Setting 'Autoload PABX.PIP file' to more than 533 minutes would cause a 'Range Checking Error'.
Checks to remove '?', '/', '\' and spaces from the creation of temporary files has been added
The carrier column is now wider on the Routing report to allow up to 9 digits to be displayed.
The line Column on the Tran, Router and Line tables have been widened to 9 digits to allow
longer values to be saved.
When a RESET ALL is done, each user's barring details will be grouped together before sending
it to the barring application. (Not just one long list will be sent anymore)
The Email, Dealer Name, Dealer Number, and Technician Name fields are now required fields
for Company Information.
All the required fields on the company screen are now shown in blue.
The Sales Person’s name and number and the Technician’s number are optional.
When the print button is clicked, a copy of the current Licence printout will be saved in the
C:\TMPTopaz Folder as "Licence.QRP". This can be copied to another computer to print from if there
is a problem with the current computers printer.
Create a "dealer.txt" file in the TOPAZ folder and enter the dealer name and fax number on the
first line of the file. When the Registration form is printed, the "YOUR TOPAZ DISTRIBUTOR" at the
bottom of the printout will be replaced with the first line from the "Dealer.txt".
Increased the length of the 'rate file' field on the settings database to cater for very long
area names.
More descriptive entries in the log files when Topaz sends emails.
An option to prevent the modification of the duration of calls based on the filter periods,
has been added to the SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> FILTER AND DEFAULTS screen. If a call is shorter
than the filter time it will just be discarded. Calls with a 0 second duration will still be
added to the database at a 0 cost to ensure that unanswered calls are still stored.
Importing of Account codes now supported with the 'Import from .txt file' option on the
DATA -> USERS screen.
On the SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> PABX screen a 'User List' file is specified to allow Topaz
to import the users daily at 00:00. This is a CSV file with the same format as the user list
import file that is used on the DATA screen.
On the RATES -> ROUTING TABLES screen the USEPREFIX column is now a dropdown selection box.
Just click on the box and you can select the correct rate you want to use.
(No more spelling mistakes)
A new version of the AJS Export format is included that adds the 'Tel Koste=' in front of
the telephone number.
Topaz now has a new method of processing incoming and outgoing network messages. It will
ensure the processing of messages in the order they are supposed to be processed.
On the SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> LOG FILE screen there are two new options. The first is the
option to have the logging information displayed in real-time in a popup window.
(By default off) The Second allows Topaz to create a logging folder for each week of the year
and the log file stored inside.
REPORTS
When a Detailed Custom report was saved, it would sometimes hide the 'Group by' drop-down.
Enquiry report format now displays the date and time correctly.
The dates on the 'Company Cost Analysis' report were displayed incorrectly.
The 'Company Cost Analysis' description for extensions are now fixed length to prevent the
overlapping of other details.
When an emailed report is empty, the email will state that there was nothing to print and
there will be no empty QRP file.
The Provider reports can be Emailed, Exported, Saved, and Canceled.
The Budget Listing report can be Emailed, Exported, Saved, and Canceled.
The Exception reports can be Exported, Saved, and Canceled.
The Custom reports can be Exported, Saved, and Canceled.
The Tab Order of the Custom report screen has been updated.
