To configure TNG to read in the file - see forum post: How do I configure TNG to load data from a file location?

The format of the comma delimited string the Avaya IP Office sends off has changed. It has some extra fields from that the original plugin was written for.

This update if for:
  1. PBX Model: Avaya IP Office 500V2
  2. Version: R8.0
  3. The output cannot be changed.

Example Rawdata(comma delimited CSV file):
Code: Select all
2013/07/04 11:06:15,00:00:12,3,3823,O,0739745508,0739745508,,0,1017368,0,E3823,IT,T9001,Line 1.28,0,0,1605,1,IT,0000.00,,0000.00,0,0,618,1.00,U,IT,

The rawdata is for an account code call made. The account code is '1605' and falls within the added fields, therefore the plugin did not cater for it.

TNG Plugin: Avaya IP Office

Postby Leon van Heerden » Wed Oct 21, 2015 1:04 pm

I have added a facility for the plugin to create an INI file.
This file will contain the options that the plug supports and the current version of the plugin.

The verison 2015.10.21.1 contains a option to use the Device names in places of the Device numbers for the Trunks. This iis used when ther Avaya is reporting the trunk and channel number in the Name field and not in the Device number field.

The example I used is of a site that has 2 BRI ( 2 Channel ISDN ). The Trunk device is reported as T9001 for both channels, but the Trunk Name is reported as LINE 1.1 and LINE 1.2.
Code: Select all
"LINE 1" = the Line,
".x" = channel number where X is a numeric value from 1 to 2 on BRI  or 1 to 30 on PRI.

the INI file will be automatically created the first time this plugin is used. The location is usually in the location of the application that uses the DLL. E.g. the TNG folder will contain the INI file with the name
Code: Select all
PAvaya_IP_Ofiice_8_1.ini

The Section called [OPTIONS]will contain:
Code: Select all
[OPTIONS]
USEDEVICENAME=0

USEDEVICENAME = 0 Use the Device value as the Trunk (default , old behavior)
USEDEVICENAME = 1 Use the Device Name value as the Trunk
