- Close the Master TOPAZ.
Make sure no TOPAZ is running in the back-round (check in the task manager). - Close all Client TOPAZ programs on the network.
- Delete "C\:tmptopaz".
- Make sure only one TOPAZ is in the start-up.
- Re-boot the PC, if possible.
- Login with the windows user for TOPAZ.
- Open TOPAZ again.
If the error still appears before login, please check the following:
- Windows access rights:
Let the IT Department set this up for you. The windows login used to install
TOPAZ, must also be used to run TOPAZ, else you will get errors with the
serial number and on registration. This login must have full control
over the datatex folder.

Re-install the BDE from the TOPAZ CD in the BDE folder. Run setup.exe.
