Generally the PABX will be able to convert most dates and times to the
internal required format without any formatting.
IMPORTANT:
If the datestart or timestart fields are 0 (zero) then the
system (PC's) date and or time will be used. This is true for fixed as well
as field delimited data from the PABX.
Month can be indicated as 01 or Jan or January.
Year can be indicated as 00 or 2000.
Both uppercase and lowercase will work.
DATE
====
1) Delimited Dates
# in the first position indicates a delimited date format.
The second position indicates the delimiter e.g. /.
The field positions d=day,m=month and y=year indicates the day,month and
year positions.
e.g. #/dmy indicates a date in the format 01/03/2000.
01/Mar/2000 and 01/March/2000 will all be accepted.
More examples
01-January-2000 would be #-dmy
March-31-2000 would be #-mdy
2) Fixed dates
This format is typically DDMMMYY with no special characters required in the
first position.
Examples
01MAR2000 = DDMMMYYYY
01032000 = DDMMYYYY
01-03-2000 = DD MM YYYY
03/01/2000 = MM DD YYYY
20000301 = YYYYMMDD
3) Variant date
A blank in the date format '' will allow the PABX2 program to try
and figure out what the date is from the PABX. Always try this first.
TIME
====
1) Delimited time
# in the first position indicates a delimited time format.
The second position indicates the delimiter e.g. /.
The field positions H=hour,M=minute and S=second indicates the hour,minute and
seconds positions.
Examples
13:12:43 = #:HMS
43-12-13 = #-SMH
2) Fixed time
@ in the first position indicates a fixed time format.
Examples
13:12:43 = @HH MM SS
43-12-13 = @SS MM HH
3) Variant time
A blank in the time format '' will allow the PABX2 program to try
and figure out what the time is from the PABX. Always try this first.
