This is a common problem with multiple serial devices. It is caused by IRQ clashes. To fix
do the following:
- When you want to use your modem, close the PABX Interface. (Click on the
Telephone on the icon tray (next to the clock) and click on the CLOSE option.
Now it will free the IRQ that is required for the modem to work.
Once you have finished using the modem, just start the PABX Interface again.
(START -> Programs -> Startup -> PABX2)
CAUTION: If you do not have a buffer connected to your computer, Topaz will
not be able to record calls for the period that the PABX Interface
is off.
