Check if the correct plugin for that PABX is selected:
Select [OPTIONS > FILE PATH > FILES]
Click on yellow folder icon next to PABX DLL
Click on the correct .dll
Click on open
Select SELECT PABX
Click on drop down arrow
C:/program files/datatex/pabx3/profiles
click on correct .prf
If the plugin is not in these locations,
check on TOPAZ CD under \pabx3\profiles folder.
If not, check the internet. www.datatex.co.za
[member area -> login -> downloads -> topaz -> plugins]
Click on downloads, go to Topaz Downloads and Choose PABX3 Plugin Downloads.
Once downloaded select correct plugin. Make sure profile and dll is selected.
Note:
A power failure can cause the pabx.prf file to corrupted.
Follow steps above to 'fix' the pabx.prf file.
To prevent this you can install a UPS and program it to shutdown TOPAZ
before it runs out of battery power, else it has the same effect as a
power failure.
You can also run a drive check to see if the harddrive is not faulty.
Tempory solution: close PABX3, rename the PABX3 folder, make a copy
of the renamed PABX3 folder, rename the copy of PABX3... folder to PABX3
and open PABX3. This will ensure that PABX3 is now running on a different
sector of the harddrive, it does not fix the harddrive problem.
