When I open Topaz I get a floating point error

Check the regional setting for the date and time.

Check the regional setting for the number configuration.
Also See: Cost figures do not appear correctly.
eg. only currency symbol and no values or very large values
Check that the network printer is working.
Get the IT department to sort this out.
