How do I configure VOX mode for OnyxPLUS

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:16 am

VOX is usually for radio recording.
On the OnyxConfig program, choose the channels you want to record using VOX mode, and select VOX.
In the OnyxLines.ini file search for the OPTIONS section

*Note: These values range from 0 to -60. They are measured in db.
The silence value has to be lower than the activity value.
SILENCE - This is the level at which OnyxPLUS will decide that there is silence.
ACTIVITY - This is the level at which OnyxPLUS will decide that there is currently voice on the channel.

*Note: The default values should work, but these are configurable if the trigger levels are too sensitive.
Restart the OnyxLines service for the settings to take effect.

For trigger events problems with Ericsson ELU25/28 Settings:
SILENCE=-48
ACTIVITY=-38
