Panasonic TDA: account codes and ONYXPlus

Postby Belinda Frick » Mon Dec 13, 2010 11:32 am

Overview:

The Panasonic TDA uses verify codes. The PABX gives off the account code and the
extension in the extension column. Therefore if an account codes is used there are
no extension number.

The Panasonic TDA plugin then reflects EXT as the extension. For ONYXPlus
we have a plugin to put the account code with a '*' infront in the extension field.
This will allow you to search by account code(in the extension field) in ONYXPlus.

Please note that since when using account codes, the TDA does not give an
extension number, we cannot map the call data to the extension that the recording
was made on. This solution is only for trunk side recording, because the TDA always
gives us a line number.

Required:

ONYXPlus 1.0.2.0b
Available on the www.datatex.co.za in the member area.
Plugin: PanasonicTDA_OnyxPlus.dll, version 2006.10.19.2 or newer.
Available on the www.datatex.co.za in the member area.
PABX3 version 3.3.3.9 or newer
Available on the www.datatex.co.za under 'support' and 'logon' for 'TOPAZ'.
TOPAZ 1.7.7.1 or newer
Trunk side recording
Suggestion:

If you do not want the account code to be displayed in the extension column on the
ONYXPlus Playback screen, please do the following:

Please use the TDA plugin for ONYXPlus.

In PABX3 setup plugin rules to 'hide' the account codes.

Get a list of the account code numbers. This value is displayed in the
the 'Ext' column in the rawdata.

Date Time Ext CO Dial Number Ring Duration Acc code CD
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
05/07/04 11:38AM *2241 04 6244587 00:01'39
In this example 2241 is the account code.

Decide what value you want the account to set equal to, for example '1'. In TOPAZ
under DATA -> EXTENSIONS, you can link the user name for reporting on this user.
In this example account code 2241 will show as extension 1 in ONXYPlus in the EXTENSION
column on the 'Playback' screen.

To setup, in this example '1', as the 'extension' for account code 2241 do the
following:

In PABX3 -> OPTIONS -> Plugin Rules,

Click on the 'New' button.
In the 'Rule Editor' Section:
Select 'Extension' from the 'Column' drop down list.
Select 'Equals' from the 'Check Method' drop down list.
Enter "*2241" in the 'Check Value' drop down list.
Enter "1" in the 'Replace Value' entry box.Tick 'Stop checking when this rule is executed'.
Click on the 'Save' button next to 'Cancel'.
Repeat from step 1 to previous until all account codes has been linked to a value
for the extension field.
Click on the 'Save' button next to 'Save As'.

In ONYXPlus "1" in the extension column will now represent account code "2241". The
same applies for ONYX and TOPAZ.

To setup ONYXPlus with TOPAZ to receive SMDR data, please see TOPAZ and ONYXPlus.
