TOPAZ and ONYXPLUS

Overview:

To see call data in ONXYPlus, the details must be received from
TOPAZ. If TOPAZ does not receive the call details from the PABX,
it cannot be sent to ONYXPlus. Therefore if the PABX does not
have CLI, the TOPAZ and ONYXPlus will not have CLI.

Configuration:

Your TOPAZ must be installed and receiving call data "live".

Make sure all the calls is received in TOPAZ. You can check this
under ENQUIRIES. If TOPAZ is not receiving the call data, then it
cannot be sent to ONYXPUS.

Further, if TOPAZ is not setup according to the user details for
that extension, then you will not see the user details under Enquiries
for that extension. MAKE A TEST CALL TO DISTINGUISH THIS.

Once TOPAZ is receiving calls, use the live update setup,

ONYXPLUS must be installed and recording your calls.

At this stage you will have recordings in ONYXPLUS with no
call detail.

To receive call data details in ONYXPLUS from TOPAZ:

TOPAZ:
SETUP -> PROPERTIES -> NETWORK & FRONT OFFICE
Tick enable for:
TOPAZ,
PABX3 and
AMETHYST Call Recorder (network setting for the ONYXPlus server)
Enter the ONYXPLUS server IP address under DATA, according to
your recording option (extensions or lines):
Extension recording: DATA -> EXTENSIONS -> AMETHYST IP
or
Line recording: DATA -> LOOKUPS -> LINES -> IPAMETHYST

This is the extensions/lines the chanel is configured to record
in ONYXPLUS. Ensure that the line number / extension configured in
ONYXPLUS is in the same format as the PABX is sending the call data
to TOPAZ, example if it show as "01" in TOPAZ, configure it as "01"
in ONYXPLUS (Channel Trunk/Extension).
Updating call data from TOPAZ to ONYXPlus:

When a recording is made in ONYXPlus, ONYXPlus will always update the
following:

Date and time
Extension
Duration
Reference (recording reference number)
Call Data received from TOPAZ:

Number
If the PABX has CLI, then incoming calls will also have a
telephone number.
Destination
If the telephone number in TOPAZ under DATA -> NUMBERS,
was linked to a Person or Company or Group, this value
will be displayed under Destination. Else the exchange
will show.

TOPAZ call data will only be updated to blank fields.

Modify call data:


After a call has been recorded and everything saved to the database, only the
notes can be changed when listening to a call.

Note: If a OnyxPlus is used with a card recording solution, SMDRLink can also give call data.
