ONYXPlus backup error: 'Cannot complete backup, check log files for errors'

This relates to ONYXPlus update, onp-onyxPlus-update-1_0_2_0.exe, and earlier versions.

This has been identified as a bug. This will be addressed in a future version of ONYXPlus.

Bug Description:

The config log file locations do not get reset every day that the config program is running.
This means that all the config log entries are written to the same log file as long as the
config program is running. When a backup is done, the current date log file does not exist
and stops the backup from completing.

The workaround

  • Close and re-open the OnyxConfig program.
It will create the folder and everything should be working again. This program is supposed
to create a new folder for every week, but doesn't. This will be addressed in a later version.
