Urgent - Can't login to Supervisor

The Supervisor service keeps stopping after being started from the WebAdmin.
Brenda, there is no Supervisor log file for Today(14/08/2013)
This started happening after a powerfailure on the 13/08/2013.

The logs shows that the amt service was restarted this morning:

Thereafter it could not connect to the database:

[2013-08-14 00:03:14]  Version [1.6.3.18]ERROR opening database : Unable to complete network request to host "localhost".
Failed to establish a connection.
No such file or directory


This could be an issue with the database engine.

Easiest option is to restart the AMETHYST server. It will then startup all the processes in the correct sequence.

You must shut it down via Webadmin and then power it up. DO NOT RESET the AMETHYST server. Please refer to forum post: How do I shut down/restart the AMETHYST server?

NOTE: I believe you have trunk side recording. If you restart the AMETHYST server, your recordings will not have call details like the extension number. All recordings will show the extension as EXT. It is best to do this outside recording hours or for example organize no calls to be made during lunch-time and then shutdown the AMETHYST server via Webadmin.

thank you. i managed to get downtime for Amethyst. The Supervisor service is started.

After restarting Amethyst, i can see: on the supervisor login page
* TMP_user_832 is logged in
* From Web Admin - I cannot see any configured Supervisors. Page appears blank(no buttons or options to add/edit the supervisor)

The amtwebadmin log still shows a database error:

I will ask our Sales department to forward you a quote for a site visit. We will need access to the AMETHYST server. If the database needs to be re-index, then the site visit must be outside office hours. AMETHYST server sends the call details for recording to the Cardserver. Please confirm your office hours for recording.

Admin informed me that our technician is scheduled to go on site to night to upgrade AMETHYST and configure archiving. We will notify him to first fix the Supervisor issue, as it will influence upgrading.
