AMTSERVER has two IP addresses how to get AMTCLIENT working

Postby John Richard Procter » Fri Dec 20, 2013 1:35 pm

    The scenario is that you have a AMETHYST server or a Remote Amethyst.

  • The server has two NIC's one NIC is DATA and the other is VOICE.

  • The client is installed on a PC on the DATA network.

  • AMTSERVER has a option where you can specify the NIC what client communication must take place on.

  • Stop the AMTSERVER service add the following line to the configuration.
    Depending on which NIC the DATA IP address is.

Code: Select all
[OPTIONS]
CLIENTNETWORKINTERFACE=eth1

Once done start the service again.
