Please attach the screenshot for me. I do not have access to the web.

Use JPG format.
Click on the UPLOAD ATTACHMENT' tab.
Navigate to JPG file.
Click on the 'Add the file' button.
You then have an option to place the screenshot in the post by using 'Place Inline' button.

The screenshot is incomplete.

Please refer to forum post for example of Available Disk Space.

You will see the archive option currently in place (either harddrive or network or dual).
Once you know which option you use refer to the AMETHYST 1.6 link in the post to replace the harddrive (either removeable tray(older systems) or Usb) or make space available on the network(NFS or Windows share).

Hi Belinda

Please see attached, Archive settings set to LOCAL. And when doing a test everything looks fine.

Please urgently advise.

The information I need is the screen shot of Available Disk Space. This will help me identifiy the problem.

The problem is not the archiving. The problem is the space that is insufficient which causes the archive not to complete.

AMETHYST will first make a backup of the database on the AMETHSYT server and then backup it to the archive drive(in your case the HDD - which is an USB Harddrive), thereafter it will do an incremental backup of the recordings.

It looks like your archive stops when first attempting to backup the database to the USB drive.

The problem can either be that there is not enough space on the Database drive for the backup or that the USB drive does not have enough space for the backup.

If for example the sweeper is not running, then the recordings to be swept will be stored on the database drive. This could explaine the 125 GIG in use.

Please:
  1. check that the sweeper logs shows recordings are currently being swept
AMETHYST Webadmin -> View Logs -> Select date as today and then click on the sweeper log.
  2. send me the full screenshot tof the Available Disk Space
