Restarting the phone does NOT resolve the issue.
We found that a SNOM phone was working but not recording.
Since the CRE was configured with the Extension and the IP of the controller that needs to be recorded, and the phone was not reporting the IP, the call was not recorded:

We restarted the recording software and the phone and neither made a difference. We then used the SNOM re-register facility and the phone showed up in the CRE logs as registering, the MBG now showed it as connected, and the phone now showed the extension and IP as it should we checking if it should record:
