Admin Plus Voice Recorder Time off Synch

Good Morning

As reported over the phone please be advised that the voice recorder for Admin Plus is out of synch again by 2 hours.

Please resolve this issue and advise why this keeps happening.

The server is loosing time. It needs to sync to correct the time.

The 2 hour time difference normally refers to a time zone issue.

You have to options to synchronize the AMETHYST time:

  1. Do you have a NTP server on site?
    Is it on the same network as the AMETHYST server?
  2. If the AMETHYST server has internet access we can also use the Internet NTP server. Currently the AMETHYST server does not have internet access.

You can forward us the NTP server IP and we can then configure AMETHYST to synchronize to it.

We suspect the issue where the time goes out has something to do with the hardware on which the software is installed.

Currently the AMETHYST/CRE and the SRC/MSL is installed within a virtual environment on the Dell server. Our later installation we installed AMETHYST on the host of the machine. This might be the reason why we have not come across the time issue at other clients.

The technical team have suggested that we move the AMETHYST onto the host. This is however not an easy process and will take some time and will include some downtime. We will have to quote for out time to have this done. It should fix the time issue.
