This can happen if the archived database was done with 32-bit Firebird and AMTListen is installed with 64-bit Firebird.
Certain domains have permission issues that give constant errors when trying to use AMTListen.
We advise against installing AMTListen on a pc that is on the domainPlease try the following work-a-round:
- Download and unrar the content of the file in the folder where amtlisten.exe is present:
Firebird 32&64 Bit.rar
Password is 'datatex'.
NOTE: To download the file, you need to be logged into the forum.
It contains the following files:
amt-amtlisten-64-32.png
NOTE: The files must be save in the same directory as the amtlisten.exe file.
- When using the older archived database, run the olddb.bat file.
When using the new archived database, run the newdb.bat file.
NOTE: The bat files was written for a 64-bit PC. If you use a 32-bit PC, you will need to edit the file path to not contain X86.
The bat file will copy the correct fbclient.dll that will allow connection to the database and open AMTListen.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
