iReCall Settings

Postby Leon van Heerden » Tue Nov 10, 2015 3:44 pm

This post explains the different settings that the iReCall App has.
Please note that the settings are removed from the phone if you log out of the app. This is a security feature. This allows user to login with a difference account and record calls under a different account.

Version 1.1.4
Main Menu:
Sync: This retrieves all the recording entries from the iReCall Cloud database.

Blacklist: These contact numbers will not be recorded.
Whitelist: These are the only numbers that will be recorded.
Use the 3 Dot menu top right of the list screen to swap between the two lists. Only one can be active at a time.

MyAccount: Change you password here.
View you subscription status here.
Sign out of the app using the Power icon top right of this screen.

Settings:
View Device ID

Change Device Description

Recording Auto-Upload: This setting allows you to restrict uploads to WiFi only. If disabled, your Mobile data will be used and additional costs can be charged from your mobile provider.

Audio Source:The Audio source can be select to work around some phone restrictions. Not all phones support call recording using the standard recording methods. If you phone is not recording properly on "Voice Call" (default setting), you can try the "Up link and Down link".

Cache: This is the amount of minutes that the recordings will be stored on your device after listening to calls. This is useful to reduce the amount of data used to access recording multiple times. It is also useful if you need to store a call for a time that you will not have data to access the recording.
The Maximum time you can store a call is 1 hour.
