Call details from Samsung 7000 range with Man3000 as TMS?

MAN3000 is propriatry software. The Samsung 7000 range has a TCP option. MAN3000 uses software Lantronics to receive the SMDR and MAN3000 connects to it.

To test if your PABX is sending off data to the port and IP you are using see:
http://forums.datatex.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=699&p=699&

NOTE: If this works, proceed.

Steps:

  • Use SMDRLink (AMETHYST IP Address port 3081) to receive the SMDR data.
In SMDRLink - General Settings -> Configure the PABX IP and port

  • Configure SMDRLink to have a TCP connection option.
Under Network Settings -> Set TCP server on and enter a port number (eg. 25001)

  • Change the settings in the Lantronics software to connect to SMDRLink to receive the SMDR data. SMDRLink will simulate the PABX. Use the TCP port configure in SMDRLink and the IP of the SMDRLink PC as PABX IP. You only need to change the IP and port to where SMDRLink is running.

PLEASE NOTE: With one installation the Lantronics the Parity was set to EVEN under 'Factory settings - do not change'. After changing it to NONE it worked.
