Amethyst Recording Issues using USBClient

Start Recording
Triggered by:

1. VOX - Noise on the Headset/Handset (Default)
2. AmtLink - Clientside integration software
3. AmtTapiLink - Serverside integration software (Requires TAPI)
4. AmtTelnet - Client intagration into Mosaic predictive dialer


Stop Recording
Triggered by:

1. SMDR - Data from PABX via TOPAZ or (amtSMDRLink 1.5) (Default)
2. VOX - A lack of noise on the Headset/Handset
3. AmtLink - Clientside integration software
4. AmtTapiLink - Serverside integration software (Requires TAPI)
5. AmtTelnet - Client intagration into Mosaic predictive dialer

If you experience any of the problems listed above or similar problems
on a VOX triggered setup, the system is picking up noise from your
phone's headset or handset.

Solutions:

* Address this to the PABX supplier - for changing the PABX's settings.
* Use a toggle switch to cut any open forced feed noise.
* Use one of the other methods to activate start and stop of recordings.


For ONYX recording issues:

SEE: ONYX not recording. Phone tap colour is RED
ONYX does not stop recording
