Problems accessing the Amethyst Web Interfaces

If the webpages do not load properly and you are using a proxy server,
try to bypass the proxy server when accessing the Amethyst server.

  • When using Internet Explorer:

    XP:

    Select 'Tools', then 'Internet Options',
    click on the 'Connections' tab.
Under the 'Local Area Network (LAN settings)' section,
    click 'LAN Settings...' button.
    Untick 'Automatically detect settings'.
    When using a proxy server
Tick 'Use Proxy Server for your LAN...'
    Select 'Advanced'.
    Under 'Exceptions' section:
Add the Amethyst server to the list of exceptions
at the bottom of the screen.

    To clear previous information:
Click 'Tools' and then select 'Internet Options'.
click on the 'General' tab .
Under the 'Tempory Internet Files' section:
    Click on 'Delete Cookies..'.
    Under the 'History' section:
    Click on 'Clear History'.

  • When using Firefox:

Go to Tools -> Options -> General -> Connection Settings
and add the Amethyst server to the 'No Proxy' list.
