How do I delete recordings from AMETHYST 1.4?/I need space

In AMETHYST 1.4 there is no purge facility. You need to make a
backup of the recordings, before those recordings can be moved
to a different drive.

Make a backup of the recordings:

You can backup the data to another drive (the recordings is not
removed from the AMETHYST database on the server).

Move the recordings to another drive:

To remove the recordings from the AMETHYST database, you must
use the AMTRSMOVE program. This will move the recordings to the
removeable harddrive. There is a version for Windows and for
Linux. The Windows version is available on the internet.

Listen to the recordings on another drive:

To listen to the recordings that has been moved, insert the
removeable harddrive and use the normal search facility.
