The status of the recording devices is displayed in:
AMETHYST Administrator under the 'Configure Agents' link from the home page.
AMETHSYT Supervisor on the 'View Agents' Menu under the
'Status' column.
VARIOUS STATUSES AND THEIR MEANINGS
STANDBY
The agent is available to take a call.
NO TAP
AMETHYST cannot detect the USB tap (client side recording).
The tap may be unplugged.
DOWN
The connection between AMETHYST and the recording device is down.
IDLE
An agent has a pre-defined amount of time to enter notes on completion
of a call (the status will be idle whilst notes are being typed).

A recording is in progress. The duration of the call is displayed.
CHECK
The server pings the client every couple of minutes. If a ping
fails once, the status is changed to check. If the next ping also
fails it is changed to down and if it is successful, it goes back
to standby.
