Release Notes
Disk space on the system drive is checked every 10 minutes instead of daily.
CRITICAL warning messages will be sent once a day when the system drive is full.
The FTP facility will be stopped when disk space is low, and started when there is enough free space.
System memory is now monitored and there will be a CRITICAL warning message every hour if memory usage is above 80%,
along with the top 5 applications that are using memory at that time.
The database automatic sweep is turned off and the sweep is now scheduled for 3pm at night.
GetSet will be installed if it's not already installed.
There will be a message in the webadmin log that GetSet was installed and needs to be configured and started.
All Amethyst servers that do not already have system information printed at startup will have the feature installed.
This shows the hardware and software at boot time as well as a network card self-test.
Updates will install faster than before.
Any application which hasn't closed after 60 seconds will be forcefully closed so the update can continue.
FEATURE
Check every 10 minutes for disk space problems instead of daily
Motivation
Currently, Amethyst checks daily for low disk space. It stops the FTP server and sends a critical e-mail if the disk space is low.
Larger sites can fill the entire system drive before a day has passed.
This check should be done every 10 minutes, but no e-mail must be sent. The e-mail must still only go out daily.
Completion
Available in 1.5.6.0
Monitor system for processes using alot of memory
Motivation
The system must check every minute for processes using a lot of memory.
If the processes continue to consume a lot of memory, a list of these processes must then be sent to the CRITICAL e-mail address.
The e-mail must only be sent once every hour.
Completion
Available in version 1.5.6.0
