AMETHYST Webadmin Home page, click on 'Configure SMDRLink' option.
The default login and password is:
- Login : admin
Password: datatex
In the General Settings section, check if the log level is set to 'all'.
If not, please select all.
Cick on 'Apply Changes'
To view the call details:
Click on the 'View Logs' icon.
Click on 'SMDRlink detail log'.
Click on 'Today'.
You should now see call data on the page.
(See example of SMDRLink detailed log below - make sure logging is set to 'ALL')

In the example the line with 'getPBX <== ' is the rawdata received via the comport, if the 'end
of line character' specified was detected.. The next 2 line is processed untill the 'SMDR data '
line show the SMDR data that will be used to tie to the recording. Please note that for each call
made you need to receive all 4 data lines in SMDRLink, else you will not have call detail for that
recording. You must have the 4th line with the entry "SMDR data [R:", "R:" is followed by the extension number.
If you do not see data in SMDRlink Detailed log, check the SMDRLink status log for errors.
SMDRLink receives call details via:
- Network:
Confirm PABX IP and port configuration. - Serial cable:
Ensure SMDR cable is connected between the SMDRLink PC and the PABX unit.
