Installing and configuring AMTPRITAPI

Postby Belinda Frick » Thu Nov 18, 2010 8:55 am

Overview

It is possible to request from us the AMTPRITAPI program which you install and run on the
TAPI computer. While it is running it will populate itself as the lines gets used. This
program listens to the TAPI device and ties up the call record to the extensions.

There are some things that need to be taken into account,
Term Server IP : Amethyst Server IP
Term port : 27000

Line Padding
Certain PABX's give off 3 character line numbers i.e 001 002 003. It is possible then
to "pad" AMTPRITAPI to duplicate this. Tick Pad Lines and then the number of characters it
must pad to. In the above example you would pad 3 characters.

If the AMTPRITAPI doesn't populate itself
It has been noted that some PABX's don't give off EXT in front of the actual extension
number. AMTPRITAPI looks for EXT extension numbers only. Thus it is neccesary to set
the MITEL TSP to manual settings and go add the extensions preceded with an EXT in the TAPI
properties screen.
