Installing and configuring update 1.5.11.0

***VERY IMPORTANT FOR 1.5.11.0!***
It is important to install the AMTCards update as well

Stop the cardserver service
Rename AMTCards.exe in the C:\Program Files\Datatex\Amethyst\ folder
Install the update on AMETHYST
Download the newest AMTCards.exe in the Distributions list
Start the service.

make a test call from USBClient and check the rejected logs and
monitor your 'View Call History' if the call is processed succesfully
then there is no configuration needed.

If the call gets rejected. (Appear in rejected logs)
Go to the 'License Page' at the bottom of the page is the
'Configure extension Rules' -> in The inclusive section:
and add in the wildcard section **** (asterisks representing the number of extension digits)
tick cardserver (it should be ticked - even if you do not have a card server)
add rule and Apply Changes.


It is also necessary to go to the amtcards.ini file. In there, if integration was setup in the previous version there
will be a section called

[OLDCTIDEVICES]

Example:

x_120=JP|1|JP||||0|0|


This needs to be copied and pasted in the

'Configure CTI devices' section of AMETHYST

This would minimise the need to setup all the previous usermappings.


This would only be applicable if there are recordings being rejected, all rejected recordings are lost.
