Recording cards and call details / call termination

The 'stop' and 'start' of the recording are controlled by the recording cards.


  • LDA (used for recording of analogue extensions and analogue trunks.

    • Extension side recording: The calls will be sliced when transferred as the recording card identifies the channel (device) that is being recorded.

      The following detail will always be displayed (even without SMDR data)
      Date
      Time
      Duration
      Extension number

      Please note: There will be no telephone numbers stored with the recordings.

    • Trunk side recording: The calls will not be sliced when transferred as only 1 channel is being recorded.

      The following detail will always be displayed (even without SMDR data)
      Date
      Time
      Duration
      Telephone number (PABX must send DTMF signalling/CLI)

      Please note: There will be no extension numbers stored with the recordings.
  • NGX (used for recording of digital extensions and BRI trunks).

    • Extension side recording: The calls will be sliced when transferred as the recording card identifies the channel (device) that is being recorded.

      The following detail will always be displayed (even without SMDR data)
      Date
      Time
      Duration
      Extension number
      Telephone number if the PABX sends it to the phone

    • Trunk side recording: The calls will not be sliced when transferred as only 1 channel is being recorded.

      The following detail will always be displayed (even without SMDR data)
      Date
      Time
      Duration
      Telephone number (There must be CallerID)

      Please note: There will be no extension numbers stored with the recordings.
  • DP (used for recording of PRI lines)


    • Trunk side recording: The calls will not be sliced when
      transferred as only 1 channel is being recorded.

      The following detail will always be displayed (even without SMDR data)
      Date
      Time
      Duration
      Telephone number for outbound calls. Inbound calls if Caller ID is enabled.

      Please note: There will be no extension numbers stored with the recordings
