Overview:
To link the virtual extension to the physical extension we
need the Windows user login. Therefore the virtual extension
needs to be configure in AMETHYST and the agent must log into
the PC with the Windows user name that the virtual extension
was configured with.
Setup:
Install the USBClient and link the recordings to the
physical extension. The extension number is the only link
between the recording and the agent listed in AMETHYST. Make
sure that the extension number was added in the USBClient.ini file,
"C:\Program Files\Datatex\USBClient".
[SETTINGS]
EXTENSION=120
Configure the virutal extensions in AMETHYST.
This is done in AMETHYST WebAdmin under 'Configure Virtual Extension',
enter the virtual extension under the 'Virtual Extension' column and
click on 'Apply Changes' button.
When the agent moves to another PC, that agent must always
use the same Windows login.
