USBClient 1.5.0.12: Recordings not stopping, USBClient audio display hangs

The PABX:

  1. If the PABX does not give off a call data string for internal calls, then
    the call will only be terminated after 40 seconds. One of the PABX's that does not
    give a call data string for internal calls is the LG.

    Windows:
  2. It has been noted that when the Windows system restore is enabled it makes a
    backup of all the changed happening in the Program Files folder. Therefore each
    time a zlb file is created (recording saved), it could seem like the USBClient is
    hanging. Disable 'system restore' and check if the problem continues.
  3. Use netstat to check if USBClient port is not used by another application on the agent PC.
    If this is not configured the USBClient cannot receive call termination.

    The following ports must be available:
    • USBClient uses listen port 3089.
    • UDP port 27002 and
    • TCP port 27004.
    ALSO SEE: How to configure the Windows XP SP2 firewall to work with Datatex products
  4. ALSO SEE: USBCLIENT does not record: recording does not stop/audio level hangs

    USBClient:
  5. Use the default settings of the USBClient and only configure the following:
[SETTINGS]
EXTENSION=120
[SERVER]
SERVERIP=amethyst
FTPSERVERIP=amethyst

In this example the extension is 120 and the AMETHYST 1.5 server is called amethyst.
