Sound Mixer's settings are not saved

This seems to be a windows problem, when using the yellow speaker at the bottom
of the screen to change your settings.

Rather click on Start then Run and type in SNDVOL32.exe
This will open the sounds settings/ Volume control screen. Make the changes
that is rquired and close the program. Now restart the computer and check that
your settings were saved correctly.
