[2012-03-14 00:00:49] Version [1.6.3.18]2012-03-14 00:00:39 2012-03-14 00:00:39 CRE SERVER AMETHYST HAS MORE THAN 500 MB FREE DISK SPACE AND WILL START RECORDING AGAIN.
AMETHYST will monitor the space to ensure that recordings can take place. It will send you an alert message is space is low and if it recovers it will also send you a message that it WILL START RECORDING AGAIN.
NOTE: There's a warning message at 500MB, 100MB, and 50MB, but if it goes from 501MB down to 49MB between two disk checks, we'd only get the one message. Currently disk checks are done every 5 minutes.
Check the following:
- Most of the time for example verbose logging can cause space to be used up:
- AMETHYST Webadmin Home page -> Configure Cardserver/CRE, click on '+' next to OPTIONS and check If the link show 'disable verbose logging', if so click on the link to switch it off. Now also check that the verbose logging feature is not enabled. Untick the tick and click on APPLY.
- AMETHYST Webadmin Home page -> Confiugre AMTMitel, untick logging option and click on APPLY.
- AMETHYST Webadmin Home page -> Configure server, untick verbose logging option and click on APPLY.
- Also check the space on the drives:
AMETHYST Webadmin Home page -> Available Disk Space.
If for example your exclusive drive is full, recordings cannot be sweeped to the exclusive drive. This will cause space issues on the AMETHYST server. You have to option archive and purge (set days to keep alive) to clear space on the Exclusive drive. NOTE: Days to keep alive is the auto purge period and gives you access to recordings on the live database. Archived and purged recordings must be access using AMTListen to access the archive drive/location.
