Mitel switchboard and USBClient

Postby Belinda Frick » Thu Mar 29, 2012 1:03 pm

I am using AMTMitelCRE as recording solution, but my switchboards are being recorded with USBClient.

AMTMitelCRE gets call details from AMTMitel, which connects to Mitai. Mitai does not provide call details for the switchboard.

USBClient needs call termination to terminate the recording. It will wait for 13 seconds of silence time before it goes into wrap-up mode and end the recording. If a second call is received within the 13 seconds you will have a continuous recording with more than one conversation.

Also see AMETHYST USBClient and switchboard - no call details

We need call termination for USBClient. The Mitel SMDR port will provide this.

Required:

  • AMTBuffer (runs on the AMETHYST or SRC server)
    No interface available for configuration.
  • SMDRLink(runs on AMETHYST server)
    Configuration done using http://[AMETHYST IP]:3081
  • AMTMitel(runs on the AMETHYST or SRC server)
Configuration done from AMETHYST webadmin home page using the 'Configure AMTMitel' link.
Setup:

    USBClient call details: AMTBuffer
  • AMTBuffer connects to the Mitel SMDR port for call details.
  • AMTBuffer is configured in the ini to only receive USBClient extension numbers from the SMDR port.

    USBClient call details: SMDRLink
  • SMDRLink will connect to AMTBuffer for call details.
Configure the PABX IP and port as that of the AMTBuffer IP and port.
  • SMDRLink will send call details to AMETHYST server software, which will send it to USBClient.
This is the server ip and port configuration (AMETHYST IP and port 27000)

    AMTMitelCRE call details: AMTBuffer
  • AMTBuffer will also connect to AMTMitel for call details for the recording solution AMTMitelCRE.
